Every week fantasy owners have tough decisions to make. Whether it is who to start in their flex spot or if they should start a less quality player against a weaker defense. I will be giving my fantasy followers my solo rankings based on PPR scoring. You hear it all the time, “You don’t win your league at the draft.” No truer words have been spoken in the history of mankind. Ok, that’s a slight exaggeration, but I had to stress the importance. Every week throughout the season, you should be trying to improve your team. You should be constantly looking for trends to find next week’s waiver wire gems and remain one step ahead of your league mates. You should always be looking for trades to bolster your squad (hint: pick on the losing teams because you were smart and drafted depth). No matter what you think, your team is never good enough. With that being said, a lot of us make panic decisions in our drafts because the clock is winding down or your league mates are yelling at you to pick, and those picks are usually not good ones. So just because the season has not started, it does not mean you can’t start building that championship team. I did a little digging and found players with low ownership percentages that should be owned in both shallow and deeper leagues, or at the very least should be first on your watch list.
To quote the great Phil Collins, “I can feel it coming in the air tonight”. That’s right, the NFL season is upon us and what better way to get things started then with the initial installment of The Scorecrow Sports NFL Power Sixteen.
Football is BACK! We are just a few days away from opening night between the Falcons and Eagles. Fantasy drafts are still happening by the hour so here are my final PPR rankings. However, fantasy owners need to be aware that NFL clubs are making roster moves still and some of these players may end up changing teams. As always, happy hunting fantasy friends!

The Jacksonville Jaguars had a ten point lead on Tom Brady and the Patriots on the road and looked on their way to a Super Bowl before some questionable calls. Can they replicate the same type of season or more success this season?
2017 was a year that the New York Giants hope to erase from existence. They had Super Bowl aspirations going into the season after they finished with an 11-5 record in 2016, but the team completely imploded as they finished with 13 losses, the most in the history of the franchise. No one could predict the onslaught of despair that would befall the New York Giants last year.
The Los Angeles Chargers as they are now known always seem to be in the mix for the AFC West. Sometimes they are touted as a contender for the AFC crown. This year is no different as far as expectations, but can they realize their potential?
