Trevor Richards may have a 5.0 BB/9, but he is currently sporting a 14.7% swinging strike rate (10th in MLB) and a 32.4% o-swing (29th in MLB), which is well above the league average of 29.3%. He also has a 68.2% contact rate, which is the 9th lowest in the league and has yielded 11, 13 and 18 swinging strikes in his last 3 starts. Opposing batters are currently hitting .088 against his changeup, which has resulted in a 23.3% swinging strike rate. Pair this with 2 struggling offenses in the Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals, paired with a home pitchers park, Trevor Richards should be in for a solid Week 3.

In this edition of Ice Picks, we will target favourites who have a distinct edge over their counterparts. The Toronto Maple Leafs host the slumping New York Rangers, Vegas will look to continue their dominance in a home matchup to the Detroit Red Wings, Montreal, winners of their last two, are home to the struggling Buffalo Sabres, and the Flames look to continue their strong play of late in Vancouver. Let’s break it down!
Mega slate, 12 games on tap for us to pick off of tonight. My eye is on four games that appear to have a good chance of going off offensively. Philadelphia at Chicago leads the way, followed by Ottawa at Calgary, Winnipeg at Vegas, and sneaking in there, Tampa Bay at Carolina. Go Time!
The choices are not so obvious this time around for DraftKings selections for Tuesday. Bound to be quite a bit of variance, so perhaps GPP’s is the way to go tonight. My top game to target is Washington at New Jersey followed by Toronto at Nashville, and Columbus at Calgary. Here we go!
A number of great options to target for Saturday’s NHL slate. Narrowing down this slate was somewhat difficult but there is no denying the value in the following contests. Calgary Flames at Winnipeg Jets, Washington Capitals at Tampa Bay Lightning and finally, the battle of Ontario-Leafs at Senators. Let’s get to it!

Here are the games in order preference: Penguins at Sabres, Lightning at Red Wings, Panthers at Sharks and Capitals at Flyers. Here we go!

The struggling Winnipeg Jets(4-5 in there last nine) host the smooth sailing San Jose Sharks(6-2-1 in there last nine). Our other set of games appears to be more one-sided, but still valuable in terms of fantasy point production. Montreal hosts Detroit and New Jersey visits Calgary. Time to break it down!
The trade deadline has come and gone with some notable names being shipped to teams that are all in to make a push towards a championship. We have our typical full offering of games for Tuesday, some of which feature players involved in the deadline day deals.
