Marcus Guy examines the one missing puzzle piece the Yankees need to pursue ahead of the 2020 season.

As Kershaw, Scherzer, Judge, and Acuña showcase their talents in the playoffs again, other superstars wait for their chance to shine. B.J. Martin shares a list of 10 players the baseball community would love to see play in the postseason.
All of the madness and talk is swirling around the beginning of football season and understandably so, but the baseball season is still very much in full swing and actually just starting to heat up even more. Now that we’ve made it to September, the playoff picture is really beginning to take shape and it will be a wild final few weeks of regular season play. Many of you are still taking part in last-minute fantasy football drafts (I know because I am also). But why can’t we have our cake and eat it too? Let’s take a look at some players to target for tonight’s slate of games. Hopefully, this will help save you some time, allow you to set your lineups, and get back to your football research.
One of the more versatile players in baseball, Whit Merrifield is one of the most sought after trade deadline targets this season.
Merrifield has been one of the lone bright spots for the Kansas City Royals. He has been sitting at an above-average WAR his whole career and is improving his defense. He has that .300 BA and 20 HR capabilities at the dish as well. He is also a great base runner. He stole 43 bases last season and 34 the year before that.
You know the rules: Well forget those. This week I’m giving you the seven best hitters of the first half
Going with a different strategy today, I’ll be spending down in most lineups at both starting pitcher spots on DraftKings tonight. Too many of the good high priced options have difficult matchups and this will help to avoid an implosion. If you’re playing on a site like Fanduel, it might make more sense to just go ahead and spend up for a guy like Trevor Bauer. With that said, let’s take a look at some of the players to target for tonight’s games that could potentially bring home the bacon.
Welcome to the 2019 Major League Baseball Season, and welcome to the first ever edition of “MLB DFS DraftKings Around the Horn”. We will go “around the diamond” position by position to find value to help build a winning lineup. DraftKings has a nine-game slate that gets underway at four o’clock eastern, Thursday, March 28th. Let’s go!
In what looks to be a rebuild, although Royals GM Dayton Moore doesn’t want to call it a rebuild, the Royals have signed a bunch of guys to one-year deals. Is it in hopes of trading them in July or can the Royals compete this year? Let’s take a closer look at the 2019 Kansas City Royals.
According to reports from Jeff Passan, the Royals and 2B Whit Merrifield agreed to a 4-yr extension worth $16.25 million with a club option in 2023 worth up to $10.5 million
As I continue my look into the top 15 of each position, today I’m going to be diving into second base. If you would like to see the positions I have already covered you can find them here: Starting Pitchers | First Base
