That’s a player about to be drafted into the NBA difference in age. This will be one of the most interesting championship rounds in recent history. It’s the young buck Patrick Mahomes trying to come in and take the reigns of the AFC from the man who’s reigned supreme of the AFC since 2001. It’s a shifting of times as quarterbacks like Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, DeShaun Watson, and others start to emerge as the future leaders of the new NFL generation as quarterbacks like Drew Brees, Brady, Manning, Philip Rivers, and Ben Roethlisberger start to reach the twilight of their careers. Brady vs Mahomes is just the story behind this game, but in all reality these two teams are playing for one thing and one thing only. A chance to play in the Super Bowl.

The Kansas City Chiefs at 9-1 and first place in the AFC against a 9-1 Los Angeles Rams team that was second in the NFC was a sure shot to be a great game. This game pitted two great offenses, two great offensive-minded head coaches and two great quarterbacks against one another with a location change to Los Angeles due to bad field conditions in Mexico. The game ended up being one of the highest scoring games in the history of the NFL and the greatest Monday Night Football game exceeding all expectations.

These are some of the names that come to mind. However, there is a player that has been playing outstanding football, but is not receiving nearly the amount of recognition the players I listed are. The player I am speaking so highly of is Ben Roethlisberger.
We have undergone eight weeks and have hit the midseason point in the NFL. At this point, we kinda have a basic idea of who’s for real and who’s not. Here are the teams that have looked like Super Bowl contenders so far.
