FA Cup Final Preview

Manchester City and Watford have met six times in the FA Cup, with the Blues winning three, drawing two and losing once.  It’s not been the easiest of routes to the final, for City down 2-0 at Swansea City in the quarter-finals. They were able to creep back into that contest, winning 3-2. The Swans were dominated for the most part outside of the scoreboard. But credit to them, they were able to score on each of their shots on target.

Minnesota Vikings 7 Round Mock Draft

Going into last season, the Minnesota Vikings broke the bank, to bring in highly coveted free agent quarterback Kirk Cousins. Expectations were quite high, only to end up missing the playoffs. The final nail in the coffin was a week 17 loss to the Chicago Bears. Looking towards the draft, the Vikings have eight picks, including two six and seven round selections. It wouldn’t be very surprising to see the Vikings take a pair of offensive linemen in the first four rounds.

Martin Truex Holds Off Late Race Charge From Joey Logano

Martin Truex Jr picked up a victory for the first time at a short track in his 14 full-time seasons in the Monster Energy series, snapping an 80 race winless streak. Truex held off a strong chase down from Joey Logano over the final three laps to win Saturday night at Richmond. He had grabbed the lead with 79 laps remaining and held on from there on out, finishing with a race-high 186 laps led.

Chicago Blackhawks 2018-19 Season Review

The 2018-19 Chicago Blackhawks Season much like last season, featured an oft-injured Corey Crawford, uneventful off-season moves, under-performing special teams, and a soft defense. They were coming off a season in which they missed the playoffs for the first time since 2007 and had some cash to spend, but instead of making that huge splash in the summer, the big offseason signings ended up being a 39-year-old Chris Kunitz and longtime Hurricanes goaltender Cam Ward, inking both players to one-year deals.
