We have a late five-game slate starting at 9:38 pm EDT tonight on DraftKings. For this Friday version of DFS, we look at players to have and players to avoid.
The San Diego Padres entered 2021 with astronomically high expectations, and rightfully so. The team entered the season with rising superstar Fernando Tatis Jr., complemented by established veterans like Manny Machado, Tommy Pham and Yu Darvish.
Less than two years removed from a World Series championship, the Washington Nationals find themselves on the brink of transition. Currently sitting in fourth place in the National League East, D.C’s team is positioned to be the most intriguing seller this trade deadline season.
A lot of people had tremendous success padding their wallets playing my DFS lineup for Taco Tuesday. Why deviate from what got us to the here and now? We are going to play the late slate again like we did on Tuesday and hope for similar results. Let’s keep this run going.
The Padres are going to be so much fun. They were last year, when they followed up Manny Machado’s initial year and Fernando Tatis Jr.’s rookie season by finishing 37-23, which was second in the National League. Of course, the rival Dodgers cleaned up pretty quickly, but now general manager AJ Preller is making sure that does not happen again.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are getting a lot of attention with their All-Star rotation after the free-agent signing of Trevor Bauer, but don’t let it distract you from how good the Padres will be.
One pitcher who’s name has become popular in the rumor mill is Joe Musgrove. The Pirates starter is coming off of a career year and is Pittsburgh’s biggest remaining trade piece.
