Unlike in other playoff rounds this year, there are off days interspersed between games like there typically have been in previous seasons. The Los Angeles Dodgers are still in pursuit of their first World Series title in 32 years; meanwhile, the Rays are chasing their first championship.
When the teams with the best record in both the American and National Leagues make it to the World Series, you know that the matchups and games will come with a ton of hype.
And then there were two. After a couple of Game 7’s, we finally have the Tampa Bay Rays and the Los Angeles Dodgers set to battle for the Commissioner’s Trophy starting on Tuesday, October 20. Let’s take a look back on both Championship Series and see how we got here.
