With a flurry of offseason moves, multiple first-round picks and a move to Las Vegas on the horizon, the one familiar staple within the Oakland Raider organization will be it’s starting quarterback. Going into his 6th season as starting quarterback for the Raiders will be Derek Carr.
As the Denver Broncos get into their offseason training activities and signing their newest draftees to rookie contracts, there’s still one loose end that needs to be tied, and it may be coming close to an end. That is the contract dispute with star cornerback Chris Harris Jr.
The Los Angeles Rams went through the 2019 NFL draft addressing the team’s need of depth. Particularly, at the running back position with Darrell Henderson. The Rams took Henderson with pick No. 70 in the third round to prolong their peak.
With the 2019 NFL Draft now behind us, teams are now beginning to take shape and mold into what we will most likely see for the upcoming 2019-20 season. With the compensatory period coming to an end on May 8, meaning that all free agents signed after that period won’t count against compensatory picks, we could see some movement among players very soon. With several players still left on the free agency market such as Ndamukong Suh or Eric Berry, and along with trade rumors that we could possibly see come to fruition, here are ten players that we could see being picked up by a team or traded in the next month or two.
Achilles tendon (Calcaneus Tendon) injuries do not occur with the frequency of ACL injuries, but they are more devastating in terms of recovery and performance for NFL players. The Raiders signed Isaiah Crowell to a one year deal this offseason but that plan got blown out of the water on Monday when Crowell suffered a season-ending Achilles Tendon Tear during offseason conditioning. It is reported that he will undergo surgery to repair the tendon within the next week.
I was in a twitter argument a couple days ago over Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. The question was if you had to choose between one of these three running backs: David Johnson, Dalvin Cook, or Nick Chubb, who would you choose?

Then a torn ACL in practice ended his season and the Houston Texans went on to win just one of their last nine games, but with a healthy Watson, the 2018 season had high hopes. However, the season started off very ugly. The Texans started the season 0-3 including with loses to the Tennessee Titans and New York Giants. Facing the Indianapolis Colts in week four, the Texans’ season flip 180 degrees within one snap.
The 2018 season was like night and day for the Dallas Cowboys. After starting the season 3-4, the Cowboys traded for Oakland Raiders’ wide receiver Amari Cooper and the whole season turned around. With Cooper on the roster, the Cowboys won seven of their last nine games and took home the NFC East title for the second time in three years. After winning their home playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks, 24-22, the Cowboys lost to the Los Angeles Rams 30-22 in the divisional round.
Recently former Oklahoma quarterback and Oakland A’s first round draft pick, Kyler Murray, announced on twitter that he was “firmly and fully committing my life and time to becoming an NFL quarterback”. With Murray 100% committed to playing in the NFL, his draft stock should start to rise.
