Kawhi’s Presence Alone has Made Giannis Mortal

The Milwaukee Bucks needed a bucket badly.

After a fast start to game five of the Eastern Conference Finals, Milwaukee suddenly found themselves on the wrong end of a 16-2 Toronto Raptors run, giving the Canadian outfit their first lead of the night midway through the second quarter.

Throwback Thursday: Corey “Bad Porn” Maggette

Corey Maggette was a hyper-athletic wing player that feasted on his ability to get the basket, draw contact, and ultimately the free throw line. It’s Michael Porter Jr. Time in Denver

It has been 11 months since Michael Porter Jr heard his name called with the 14th pick by the Denver Nuggets in the 2018 NBA Draft. After redshirting his rookie year as he recovers from a pretty severe back injury, Porter spoke to the media during his exit interviews. Last Tuesdays Draft Lottery helped give a better idea of what this NBA offseason will look like for the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls had high hopes of landing one of the first two picks in the 2019 draft but, unfortunately, the ping pong balls did not bounce their way as they were projected to grab the fourth slot. However, they found themselves with the seventh overall selection. That’s an unfortunate fall when you look at what Chicago is missing out on, one Zion Williamson and one Ja Morant. Either player would have been a key piece in a rebuild that has been marginally successful but is trending in the right direction.

Performance Enhancing Drugs -A Who, What, Why Look at the Issue

In the past week, the news has been awash with reports of players being suspended or kicked out of their league. Patrick Peterson who plays for the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL was given a six-game suspension. Tyreke Evans who played for the Indiana Pacers was disqualified and suspended  NBA for two years for testing positive for “drugs of abuse”. Geir Helgemo was suspended until November by the World Bridge Federation – the card game for violating their anti-doping rules.
