The Baltimore Orioles avoided the basement last year by finishing 25-35, one game ahead of the Boston Red Sox. Let’s see if Baltimore can build on last season’s improvement.

In typical Cleveland fashion, the Indians did not go out and make a splash in free agency. They were able to sign long-time rival Eddie Rosario to a one-year deal. While they once again parted ways with Carlos Santana, this opens up the first base position to a number of young candidates. With all this being said, let’s take a look at what the 2021 Cleveland Indians will look like.
The San Diego Padres begin their second-round series against the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight at 9:38 p.m. ET at Globe Life Field in Texas. The Dodgers shut down the Milwaukee Brewers offense and took both games of the first-round series. The Padres offense looked stagnant into Game 2 against the St. Louis Cardinals but came alive and is looking tough right now. Something has to give.
One side of the American League Division Series pits two AL East rivals against each other. After they swept their respective Wild Card rounds, the fifth-seeded New York Yankees and first-seeded Tampa Bay Rays meet in the mutual site of Petco Park in San Diego.
The Los Angeles Dodgers were only able to manage one win against the Cubs in Chicago. The Pittsburgh Pirates got swept by the Arizona Diamondbacks in Pittsburgh. The Dodgers have a record of 16-11, and the Pirates have a record of 12-11. Let’s take a look at the matchup for this weekend between the Dodgers and the Pirates.
The NLCS rematch will take center stage for a second straight weekend.
Clayton Kershaw is BACK! Yasiel Puig will be back in LA for the first time since being traded to the Cincinnati Reds, along with Matt Kemp, Kyle Farmer, and Alex Wood.
The Los Angeles Dodgers look to improve to 12-2 to start off the season, as the St. Louis Cardinals look to improve to 9-5.
The Los Angeles Dodgers went 3-1 against the Arizona Diamondbacks, as I predicted, in their first series of the season.
Welcome back to part two of my “Players who are likely to break out in 2019” series. For this article, I will be giving one player for each team that I think will have a breakout season. The list will go in alphabetical order so that it’s easier to find your team. Also, if I mentioned someone in part one, they will not be mentioned again in part two. I will link part one at the bottom of the article if you would like to take a look.
It’s Eloy season! White Sox fans were teased and tortured with Manny Machado rumors and speculation all off-season. Management made it sound like they really had a seat at the table. The fact of the matter is they did, but they didn’t put the necessary chips down to land Machado. At any rate, there are still a few key young guys to get excited over. What will the 2019 season have in store for the Chicago White Sox?
The San Francisco Giant even-year magic came to an end in 2016. They had won the World Series in 2010, 2012, and 2014. In 2016 they beat the New York Mets in the WC game on a Conor Gillaspie 3-run homer off Jeurys Familia in the ninth and a CG shutout by who else but MadBum himself. That year they couldn’t get past the Cubs. For the past two years, they haven’t been close to good. With an aging team and not much in the farm system, let’s take a look at what the Giants have in store this year.
