New Orleans Saints 2019 Season Outlook

To say the 2018 season did not end the way the New Orleans Saints wanted is an understatement. Much like 2017, one play seemed to derail the Super Bowl dreams of the Saints. Although they did get a little closer last year, making the NFC Championship, the result was nevertheless disappointing. As a Saints fan, I won’t go into what happened the past two years as it is still a little painful as I’m sure it is for my fellow WhoDats. What I will say is this: The Saints are poised to get that ring and put Drew Brees along with Peyton Manning and John Elway as great quarterbacks going out on top.

The 2019 NFL season is almost here! Well, the preseason at least. The Hall of Fame game between the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos is tomorrow. The regular season is a little more than five weeks away, but football is back baby! Of course, that means redraft fantasy leagues will be drafting left and right over the next month or so. Has anyone noticed that my “boom” plays go boom a week or two after I feature them? So unfortunate in the timing. Albert Wilson, c’mon man! Went off this past week. And don’t even get me started on Mason Crosby. Recommended him last week, and he saw plenty of opportunities and missed everything. If he hit all 6 of his kicks including his extra point attempt he would’ve had 21 points. 21. From a kicker. Then he goes and scores 17 against the Niners the next week.
