Week 2 of the college football season is now in the books, and what a great week of action it was. Even with some of the predictable showdowns on the schedule for the big-time programs, we saw a ton of excitement and upsets.
Unfortalntly, we have no more football to gamble on. The good news is it’s time to start winning some money on college basketball.
Another week has gone by and that only means one thing: another chance to make some money on college football. It’s really time to gear down as we will have a big Gambling Corner coming next week for the Thanksgiving games. Let’s run through the entire college slate and make some money for the holidays.
Most of the college football world penciled in a Badgers loss to Ohio State before the season and even after Wisconsin got off to a hot start, but no one could have predicted the meltdown in Champaign. Now with two losses, the Badgers will need some help from Big Ten opponents to knock off long-time rivals Iowa and Minnesota to win the Big Ten West.

This week, I’m going to introduce a new “segment”, if you will, to this article. This is inspired by “Bear’s Bank” on College Gameday. The Bear has such a poor picking record at picking spreads that I decided I must take it into my own hands to challenge him. So obviously, he’s a few weeks ahead of me, so this week I will pick 10 of my locks for this week and see if I can eventually have a better record than Chris Fallica and claim my throne. To make sure the article isn’t too long, I will do separate articles for my locks and my game picks.
Michigan got back on track last week, beating Rutgers 52-0 and chasing Chris Ash from his position in Piscataway. This week, Michigan takes on an Iowa team looking for a big victory on the road.
