In his freshman year, he led all Northern Arizona freshmen in catches and receiving yards with 13 catches for 235 yards. These numbers showed promise for Butler’s future as a Lumberjack.

The Sugar Bowl is not part of the College Football Playoff semifinal this year, but it’s still a good bowl to be in as it features the fifth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, who are 11-2 and the fifteenth ranked Texas Longhorns, who are 9-4. Two big name schools and some great coaching makes this game a must-watch chess game as there will be a lot of schematics left and right and it will surely be a bloodbath till the end with all the positional talent.
Central Florida will take on the LSU Tigers in a Fiesta Bowl showdown on New Year’s Day. The Knights come into this match, feeling very bitter, having been left out of the Playoff, even after going undefeated for the second consecutive season. LSU has something to play for as well. The Tigers are seeking their first 10-win season since 2013.
I knew there was a bowl game that I forgot about, it used to be known as the Tangerine Bowl, which was turned into the Florida Citrus Bowl in 1983. WOW !!!!…Where was I ?? Because I clearly remember the Capital One Bowl from 2001 until 2014, and then it was CompUSA, Ourhouse.com, and then it was sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings a couple of years ago. Overton’s sponsored the game in 2018, now it is sponsored by VRBO, a vacation rental marketplace and will be hereby known as (for now) the VRBO Citrus Bowl. And out of all of the non-College Football Playoff bowl games, this game has the highest payout per team at $4.25 million. That’s more money for the Big Ten and Southeast Conferences, Now that we got the identifications out of the way, it’s time to discuss this game.
Happy New Year! The 2019 College Football season blasts off with arguably one of the best sports days of the year. Mississippi State and Iowa begin the annual cornucopia day of football with the Outback Bowl from Tampa. This will be the first-ever matchup between the Bulldogs and Hawkeyes.
A back-and-forth fun shootout occurred in last year’s Birmingham Bowl as it saw Quinton Flowers outduel Nic Shimonek with a last-second touchdown to help USF win it in a game that was up for grabs the whole night.
Josh Allen was very unknown to the national media as Wyoming didn’t play their games against high-profile teams, but Allen announced himself to the national media after throwing for three touchdowns and 154 yards capitalizing on Central Michigan’s 8 turnovers to easily blow them out 37-14 in last year’s Potato Bowl.

We appreciate you and in the 2018 College football season has blessed the Florida International Golden Panthers and the Toledo Rockets with a ticket to paradise…kind of. Thomas A. Robinson Stadium will be rocking most definitely. These two teams last met in postseason action back in 2010 in the Little Ceasar’s Bowl, and it was a fantastic game in which FIU won on a last-second field goal.
