Sports fans rejoice, we have reached the time of year when baseball ramps up the intensity, football is already in full swing, and just around the corner, we have NBA and NHL ready to start their respective seasons. Opportunity to make some cash is out there for us, now is the time to do so some major research. Tonight we are looking at another nice 12-game slate. There isn’t a wealth of aces tonight but there are solid options nonetheless. There are a ton of bats though and we will have to mix and match wisely to find those values so we can pay up for pitching. So let’s get right into it.

As teams start resting players and setting up their staffs, we have to be aware of who will be on the bench. Check your lineups before your games go live in case you need to make a late change. Tonight will be a good night to practice what it will be like once playoff baseball begins in October. Way fewer games to pick from for our starting lineups. All toll just five are on the docket for the evening slate. Pretty straight forward, we have an ace going for Cleveland against the woeful Detroit Tigers. As for bats, three powerhouse offenses should be targeted as they are all in good spots against a left-handed starter. Let’s get right to it and go Around the Horn!
There are two NFL games on tonight after the big opening Sunday yesterday. There was baseball on yesterday and a slate of games that not many paid attention to. Tonight, however, there are eight games on the main slate on DraftKings. The perfect sized slate following a crazy, yet enjoyable Sunday of football. Just enough games to be able to differentiate your lineups from your opponent’s. Also, not too many games which allow us to fully dive into each game. Let’s take a look at what we have on tap for tonight.
The end of the baseball season is getting closer. As temperatures begin to drop, the heat begins to rise on the teams that haven’t yet joined the 80-win club. After a few days away to take care of employment situations, I return to bring you two more teams that have joined our club. The Tampa Bay Rays and the Cleveland Indians have been battling all season to reach a postseason berth. Now that they’ve reached 80 wins, they both feel they’re almost there. And, they’re telling the rest of the 80s club, (indirectly) “Shut your halfwit pie-holes! We’re trying to make the playoffs!”
OK, that SpongeBob reference may not have been the 80s, but we’re breaking down a team that didn’t even exist in the 80s but have some pretty awesome “Throwback” uniforms. The Rays help the sunrise on this edition of, “Backtrax MLB!”
The calendar has flipped over to September, the kids are back to school and summer days are about to turn into crisp, cooler days. Heck, I kinda like it as I was just out for some tennis and felt like the coolness gave me some extra energy. This, of course, has nothing to do with what brings you, the reader, here. Let’s dig into this somewhat un-inspiring eight-game nightcap before I start talking about the weather again.
