We’re approaching podium time.
With the MLB season winding down, we won’t have many more opportunities to take advantage and make some money playing DFS. We need to capitalize on the remaining opportunities. That brings us to tonight’s small slate of five games, starting at 7:05 ET. On the docket, we have some weather concerns to monitor throughout the day, as well as a very thin group of quality pitchers to choose from. To save you time and research, I went ahead and put some work in for you. The daily grind keeps rolling and we aren’t slowing down for anything or anyone. It’s time to get right back to it. Here are some of my favorite DFS plays for tonight’s games.
Is the shift good for baseball? Now the shift is relatively new, becoming popular in the last decade or so. It is seemingly a great thing. After all, why wouldn’t you want to place your players in the positions where they are most likely to get an out?
Every team has signed contracts they regret. Here are the worst contracts for the teams in the American League East. Stay tuned for the rest of the teams, division by division.
Welcome in. Hopefully you were able to cash last night with some of the plays provided in yesterday’s article. Stephen Piscotty and Jonathan Lucroy came up huge for me and I was able to turn in a decent profit, cashing in 84% of cash games last night. Hopefully we can strike gold again. Let’s take a look at some players to target for tonight’s 13-game slate.
If we are being honest, all I have to do is say “yikes” and that would be my preview of this team. Just an absolutely terrible ball-club. Hard to believe that only a few years ago, the Orioles had Manny Machado, Chris Davis (when he was good) Adam Jones, and Matt Wieters. This team reached the ALCS in 2014. So how were they this past season? 47-115 and finished dead-last in the AL East for the second straight year. This will be a painful process, but let’s take a look at what the Orioles will field this season.
We see it every year. A player who has been good during the course of his career has a down year. It happens. Last year, it was Eric Hosmer, Kris Bryant (for his standards), and Jake Arrieta. Who will it be this year? No one can know for sure, but I will definitely give my input (with the help of other members of the Scorecrow team).
