It’s almost been two years since the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers squared off in the NBA Finals. A lot has changed since then. The Lakers have been a disappointment since the season started.
It was a tale of two nights. After a disastrous performance on Tuesday, the Miami Heat put up a much better fight. Miami brought a more defensive intensity to the game. They did a much better job of defending the perimeter. Even though the Milwaukee Bucks went up by double digits, Miami went on a huge run in the second half to close the game. With the win, Miami is now 2-2 for the season.
This is the fourth day of NBA free agency. So far, the Miami Heat re-signed Goran Dragic, Meyers Leonard, and Udonis Haslem. They lost Jae Crowder and Derrick Jones Jr to bigger offers. To replace the two players, they added Avery Bradley and Moe Harkless. While the moves may not be exciting to some, it’s clear Miami remains focused on 2021.
Another player has announced they will not be participating in the resumption of the NBA season.

You can find part one here and part two here. Hope you enjoy! – Josh
