Yetur Gross-Matos is a stud edge rusher who has made even more strides from his dominant sophomore season (ninth-ranked 20 tackles for loss) to pretty much guarantee himself as a day one selection. Gross-Matos has been through two terrible tragedies in his life but has shown great courage and resiliency. When he was just two years old, his father drowned in a boating accident and then under nine years later his older brother was killed by a lightning strike on a baseball field. He will continue to play for his father and brother while leaving it all out on the field. Gross-Matos has all the traits to be a leader and an unstoppable force in the NFL. Now let’s get to the grades.

Davis is a former track-star who’s athletic abilities have transferred very well to the football field. As a redshirt-senior, Davis has already accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl to further attempt to boost his stock. I love how an analyst over at TDN (The Draft Network) put it. He said that labeling Davis as a “track athlete” is incorrect. He should be labeled as “a football player, who happens to also be good in track and field.” 

Kenneth Murray is a very patient, productive player. He is very athletic, flashing sideline-to-sideline speed, but he lacks play strength. His motor and intelligence speaks for itself, though.

Everybody is in love with the measurables of Justin Herbert and how well he projects at the quarterback position, but how high is his ceiling? For the longest time, I had Herbert as my QB1 (Burrow now). Now I have to decide if Herbert is QB2 right behind Joe Burrow, or if he’s fallen further down my board.

Marlon Davidson is a veteran leader who returned to Auburn for his senior season in order to fulfill a promise to his late mother that he would provide for her. Even after her death, Davidson’s plan never changed. As he trends closer and closer to becoming a day one pick, his goal looms even closer. But he does not need to be a first round pick to fulfill this promise. Davidson has the traits to be a leader in the NFL. Let’s see how he grades out.

Tyler Johnson is a very consistent target who runs crisps routes and provides plenty of YAC. His speed isn’t top of the line, and his physicality for his size isn’t there, but Johnson is reliable and catches most of what’s thrown his way.

Trevon Diggs is a former wide receiver who hones in on some of these abilities at the cornerback position. He’s a very lengthy, yet very fast corner who is still learning the ins and outs of the position. His versatility is going to be cherished by any NFL coach.
