Week 7 Streaming Options: QB, TE, D/ST, K, and Deep “Boom” Plays

Has anyone noticed that my “boom” plays go boom a week or two after I feature them? So unfortunate in the timing. Albert Wilson, c’mon man! Went off this past week. And don’t even get me started on Mason Crosby. Recommended him last week, and he saw plenty of opportunities and missed everything. If he hit all 6 of his kicks including his extra point attempt he would’ve had 21 points. 21. From a kicker. Then he goes and scores 17 against the Niners the next week.

Week 7 Waiver Wire Adds

The playoffs are looming and the bye weeks beatdowns are getting more severe. Remember that you can not carry over your Free Agent Aquisition Budget into the following season (unless your specific rules allow you to do so) so don’t be afraid to spend on the guys that are going to help you make it to the playoffs. Likewise, it is important not to overspend on the wrong guy so pay attention to the trends and the upcoming schedules to try and find a diamond in the rough. The following waiver wire adds reflect a budget of $100 FAAB.

Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 6

We are just about halfway through the season heading into week six, and our matchups become more critical. In these next few weeks, some will clinch a playoff berth and some will be eliminated from contention. That is why we must always be trying to improve our teams and do what we can to put the best possible starting lineup out there. First and foremost, always start the guys filling in for injured players. I am not going to tell you to start T.J. Yeldon and Tevin Coleman because that is too obvious, those guys should be in everyone’s lineups. However, there are tons of players with great matchups this week so we have to make sure we pinpoint those matchups and capitalize.

Week 6 Streaming Options: QB, TE, D/ST, K, and Deep “Boom” Plays

It’s the weekend! Time to set those lineups. Hopefully, you have Drew Brees on your team. That would bring you here to check out my streamer options. But also, congrats for having the best fantasy quarterback come year end. Matt Stafford is also on a bye. In the next six weeks there will be a need to stream, so tell your friends where you got your streaming options. Or don’t – if you want them to lose their matchup.

Buying, Selling, and Trading on the Fantasy Market – Week 6

The art of trading in fantasy football isn’t simple. Yet, as the waiver wire thins out, trading becomes nearly the only way to turn things around. The trouble with trading is two-fold. First, you have to identify the targets that you want to acquire and the ones you want to trade away. Looking at current usage, their upcoming strength of schedule and their potential upside can all help you with this process. However, the second step involves negotiation. One of the more frustrating parts is that everything could seemingly line up for your offer, and yet all your work can be undone with a simple “no.” While this article can’t really help you with the latter of those two problems, it can definitely help you identify some potential targets.

The Great Alvin Kamara Scare of 2018

First I would like to congratulate Drew Brees on breaking Peyton Manning’s record for all-time passing yards. What he and Sean Payton have done for the city of New Orleans is remarkable. I remember watching the Saints as one of those blah teams and now they are one of the most exciting to watch.

Week 6 Waiver Wire Adds

This week is one of the weakest waiver wire weeks so far. There is not much to be had in regards to QBs, but there are a few RBs and a plethora of WRs ripe for the taking. For those of us who are sitting at 5-0 or 4-1, it is time to start thinking about playoffs and that means clearing your bench of worthless fodder and adding players with serious upside. The following waiver wire adds reflect a $100 Free Agent Aquisition Budget (FAAB).

This week there are some tremendous matchups that need to be taken advantage of. Don’t Digg Yourself A Hole, Get Hooked On A Thielen

We are a quarter of the way done with the NFL season. Wow, seriously, that sucks, it’ll be Super Bowl Sunday before we know it. But until then, there are still a lot of NFL games left to watch and a lot of fantasy football left to play.

Before the season started the Vikings upgraded their quarterback when they signed Captain Kirk Cousins to a three-year, fully guaranteed deal. The fantasy community then started the debate, Stefon Diggs or Adam Thielen.

Week 5 Waiver Wire Adds

We have made it through a quarter of the fantasy season, and there is plenty that we have learned since Week 1. That being said, there are still plenty of available players that are going to contribute to your championship-winning squad this year. There are even running backs to be had this late in the game. So pay attention and grab these guys while you still can. The following adds are based on a $100 Free Agent Aquisition Budget (FAAB).
