Why This Year's NFL Draft Is So Much Different

On Monday, commissioner Roger Goodell sent out a memo to all 32 NFL teams saying that the draft will be fully virtual. While this was a common thought of what was going to happen, it still sent shockwaves through the league and media for a variety of reasons. The league also recommended that each team’s personnel members be in separate locations during the time of the draft. This is another milestone in the long road of events that have been postponed or canceled due to the pandemic.

The Rams Cap Mishandling Has Come Full Circle

$94,000,000. That is the dead cap figure for Jared Goff this year if he were to be released. Thursday, Goff was awarded another $43,000,000 in guarantees from the Rams. This is just one of the blunders in a terrible series of mishandlings of multiple contracts.

Packers Sign Christian Kirksey and Ricky Wagner

On a day that saw DeAndre Hopkins traded for the same price as Hayden Hurst, the Packers were winners early in the morning. Green Bay signed recently cut linebacker, Christian Kirksey from the Browns, as well as signing tackle, Ricky Wagner from Detroit one day after he was cut.
