Washington is the first team I have revealed so far that completely overhauled their coaching staff. Ron Rivera joins the team as the head coach and brings a ton of coaching experience, having made it to the Super Bowl during his time in Carolina. This is a surprising ranking given how much the team has improved this year on paper, but when you dive deeper, there are still some major issues.
Yesterday, I started off my power rankings series with the 32nd ranked Miami Dolphins. Today, I bring you the 31st ranked team in my power rankings, the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Now that it is June, it’s time to look ahead to the 2020 season instead of talking about the offseason. Last year, I decided to make my power rankings ahead of the season, scaling each position in the order of importance to myself. Of course, there were a few difficulties and switches that had to be made to the scale to accurately make the power rankings for this year. Next to each position in parenthesis, there will be the amount each position was weighed as well as the rating and ranking in the league.

Well, what a night that was. The first round of the draft lasted over four hours and had plenty of surprises as we thought. Some teams did what we thought they would, while others went way out of the ordinary. We had multiple surprising selections in the teens as well as the 20’s, as well as a running back taken in the first round. Everyone has different opinions on the draft, and I will try my best to select the winners and losers of last night’s action.

After Thursday there are bound to be some talented players still on the board available for teams to pick on Friday at the start of the second round. My first round of this mock draft had six trades which dropped some talented players down the draft board. Let’s get started with round two.
