Dilly Dilly From the City of Cleveland

Last Thursday the city of Cleveland went fully Dilly Dilly as they celebrated the Browns winning their first game after 19 winless games played over 635 days. To celebrate this joyous occasion I decided to dissect the Browns win over the Jets.

Trust The Process? The Mistake the Sixers Made

The Philadelphia 76ers had a great playoff run in 2012 pushing the Boston Celtics to seven games in the second round, but core players were traded for a rebuilding process. They had quite a few early picks but one stands out and could come back to haunt them

Buying, Selling, and Trading on the Fantasy Market – Week 3

This week I am filling in for the always intelligent Brian DeWester and will be providing some buy-low and sell-high options heading into Week 3 of the NFL regular season. I don’t know Brian’s stance on these players as I write this, but if you have any issues with these recommendations be sure to tweet at Brian and tell him how bad his replacement was for Week 3. If you play the strategy of streaming a QB, it has paid off well thus far as there have been plenty of quarterbacks outside of the top 12 weekly rankings that have performed very highly. Performances like Blake Bortles’ explosion for 30+ fantasy points against the Patriots last week secure confidence in streaming week in and week out.

Slow and Steady Wins the Race: Joe Harris Tells Us Why the Future is Bright in Brooklyn

The Brooklyn Nets do not have the reputation as the most patient organization in the NBA. In 2013, they gave up four first-round picks to the Boston Celtics for (among others) a 35-year-old Paul Pierce and a 37-year-old Kevin Garnett, in a desperate attempt to contend now. It was a disaster for Brooklyn. Garnett and Pierce had both left by 2015, leaving the franchise’s present looking bleak, and their future looking horrific.
