After sitting all of last year Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has officially gotten his time to shine and that’s exactly what he did. Through the first three weeks of the NFL season, Mahomes has thrown for 896 yards and 13 touchdowns while managing to throw zero interceptions in the process.
Last Thursday the city of Cleveland went fully Dilly Dilly as they celebrated the Browns winning their first game after 19 winless games played over 635 days. To celebrate this joyous occasion I decided to dissect the Browns win over the Jets.

Two weeks down in the NFL season and we have some big movers and shakers in the Power 16. Plenty of new teams have entered and some familiar faces have moved out. Let’s take a look at who is in and who is out!
The Minnesota Timberwolves were a mess organizationally especially with team chemistry last year and it has caused Jimmy Butler to officially declare he wants out of Minnesota. The Timberwolves only have money left for one big payday, which was being debated on being given to Butler or Karl-Anthony Towns.
As I scroll through Twitter I have seen so many polls on do I trade David Johnson, do I trade Kareem Hunt. If you drafted either one of them this season, you may be on full tilt right now. Not only are we entering Week 3 of the regular season and Patrick Mahomes seems like he rather push the ball downfield than check down to his running back and the Cardinals offense is complete trash. So where are you on Hunt and Johnson?
Week 3 is upon us. The football season has been crazy so far. Ryan Fitzpatrick leads the league in fantasy points, Matt Breida leads the league in rush yards and Desean Jackson is the receiving king through two weeks of play. If you play the strategy of streaming a QB, it has paid off well thus far as there have been plenty of quarterbacks outside of the top 12 weekly rankings that have performed very highly. Performances like Blake Bortles’ explosion for 30+ fantasy points against the Patriots last week secure confidence in streaming week in and week out.
The Brooklyn Nets do not have the reputation as the most patient organization in the NBA. In 2013, they gave up four first-round picks to the Boston Celtics for (among others) a 35-year-old Paul Pierce and a 37-year-old Kevin Garnett, in a desperate attempt to contend now. It was a disaster for Brooklyn. Garnett and Pierce had both left by 2015, leaving the franchise’s present looking bleak, and their future looking horrific.
Week 2 of the young NFL season has now concluded and boy oh boy, there are plenty of juicy storylines to cover. While some may be proud of their team’s performance so far, others are in panic mode and taking to Twitter to express their malcontent. Regardless, this is already shaping up to be yet another unpredictable year of football; one where you really have to stay on top of things. The final push is upon us! Weather its bat licking craziness or nostalgic pitching performances, this playoff race will be one to remember. There wasn’t much movement in my rankings this week, that doesn’t mean there wasn’t plenty of action.
