Thursday Night Football DFS: Week 8

TNF DFS

Week 8 of the NFL is officially here. This matchup will be between two of the top teams in the NFC. The Green Bay Packers will head into Arizona to face the undefeated Cardinals. This game could easily be a playoff preview. Let’s take a look at the top players in this NFC matchup.

DraftKings Captain

Equanimeous St. Brown (DK 900 | FD 6,000)

St. Brown has seen less than 22 percent of snaps in every game this season. That will certainly change with Davante Adams and Allen Lazard being put on the Covid-19 list. This will very likely be his highest target share of the year. Especially if they end up playing from behind. St. Brown will do some damage and at his salary, in the Captain spot, he will be one of the highest values.

FanDuel MVP

Kyler Murray (DK 12,000 | FD 17,000)

Murray has been an MVP candidate through the first seven weeks. He hasn’t had to run as much this year but he has so many weapons that he has done plenty of damage passing. However, this game could be different. The Packer’s defense has allowed 138 rushing yards to quarterbacks the last two games. There’s no reason to believe Murray will not continue putting up big numbers. Look for Murray to have his best rushing game of the season and be the top fantasy scorer.

Flex Plays

Aaron Jones (DK 9,000 | FD 12,500)

With the receiving core banged up, Jones should see even more work in this game. They will lean on him in the rushing attack as well as potentially lining him up at receiver. However, the Cardinals have only allowed one rushing touchdown this season. He probably will not hit his ceiling but he should have a good enough game to be worth paying up for.

James Conner (DK 7,800 | FD 10,000)

Conner has seen at least 10 carries in six out of seven games this season. He also has six touchdowns on the season. Furthermore, the Packer’s run defense has given up a rushing touchdown in four out of their last five games. Conner doesn’t have the highest ceiling. However, if the Cardinals do get up in this game they will try and run more to keep the ball out of Aaron Rodgers‘s hands.
