Missed kicks, critical penalties, turnovers, and failing to score touchdowns in the red zone. The Dallas Cowboys have mastered the art of losing. Their latest defeat was a 31-29 setback against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last night to kick off the 2021 NFL season.

Getting better on defense has been at the top of the Dallas Cowboys’ to-do list this offseason. Have the Cowboys done enough to be better on defense in 2021? That’s one of the pressing questions facing this franchise in May.

After barely missing the playoffs in 2019, the Dallas Cowboys were expected to return to the postseason in 2020. However, injuries derailed the Cowboys season before it could get off the ground.

Every year the NFL Network does its top 100 countdown based on the previous season. However, that’s the past, and we want to look forward to the future. Four of our writers have put together a 14 part series, predicting our top 10 at each position. We’ve also included the most under and overrated at each position.

Before you bring out the pitchforks and the nasty tweets, the basis for the top 100 needs to be laid out.

Here are three bold predictions for the Dallas Cowboys’ offense as they enter a critical 2020 season.
Marcus “Boss Cowboy” Smith takes a look at what the Texans will need to do to be playoff contenders this season.
The writers at TheScorecrow.com decided to get together and come up with their version of a Top 100 NFL players from the 2018 season. Each writer was invited to submit a ranked list of their top 25 NFL players. The votes were then counted using a weighted average method. This means that a 1st place vote was worth more than a 25th place vote.
Players ranked 1st on a list received 25 points, 2nd = 24 points and so on down to 1 point for a 25th place vote. Each players points were added up and then listed from least to most to generate our list of top 100 players. The top few players were fairly common on all the lists, but after that it was interesting. We hope you enjoy our rankings and would love to read your comments on our list. Special thanks to Beth Sullivan for tabulating the votes and getting this project together.
