For the fourth time, first baseman Todd Helton is on the Hall of Fame ballot. While he is not expected to be inducted this year, the long-time Rockie has made progress towards Cooperstown.

Throughout their history, the Rockies have always had a stigma. Great hitters, terrible pitchers. Everyone is a product of the altitude of Coors Field. Looking at their all-time team, yeah, the pitchers may not be strong.

The Baseball Hall of Fame will announce its 2021 class on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. EST on the MLB Network. With that in mind, a few of our baseball writers came together to give their favorite picks that should be voted into Cooperstown this year.

Since the inception of the Colorado Rockies in 1993, the franchise hadn’t seen one of their own get inducted into the Hall of Fame until Larry Walker in 2020. Fast-forward to 2021, and first baseman Todd Helton could join his former teammate and get the nod into Cooperstown.
