As for tonight, the Dodgers and Mets send a couple stud pitchers to the mound, the Padres visit the Rockies with an implied 13 run total attached and the Twins and Indians continue their important series at Progressive Field. Let’s dig right in and go Around the Horn!

Glad to get back on board with baseball this week as, even though my NFL cash lineup performed as expected, it failed to cash in for my entry in a double-up contest. The calendar has flipped over to September, the kids are back to school and summer days are about to turn into crisp, cooler days. Heck, I kinda like it as I was just out for some tennis and felt like the coolness gave me some extra energy. This, of course, has nothing to do with what brings you, the reader, here. Let’s dig into this somewhat un-inspiring eight-game nightcap before I start talking about the weather again.
