Clippers Media Day Interviews Full Transcript

The NBA season is less than a month away and after all the offseason craziness everyone is itching to see how some of the new-look teams will fare. The Los Angeles Clippers held Media Day for the press yesterday to showcase some of their new players in Clipper threads especially big free agent signings Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. The players talked to the media in pairs yesterday here’s what some of them said.

Pittsburgh Pirates Surprise Contenders Heading Into The Second Half

Coming into the season the Pirates were expected to rebuild. In one of the best divisions in baseball, the Pirates were predicted by many to finish fourth. So far, they have battled seemingly never-ending injuries and surpassed expectations. Over the last past two weeks, they faced teams currently in the playoff picture and excelled. It started with the untimely and unexpected death of Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs and ended with the news that former New England Patriots linebacker and current ESPN analyst Tedy Bruschi had suffered a second stroke. His first occurred in February 2005 during the offseason.

Sudden Unexpected Death- Usually There Are No Warning Signs

The news of the unexpected passing of the Los Angeles Angels’ starting pitcher Tyler Skaggs rocked the sports world late Monday afternoon. An autopsy was to be performed today, but it may take some time before a cause of death is officially determined.  As of the time the notification was made it was made clear that foul play and suicide did not appear to be the reason for his unexpected passing.
