And speaking of on tap, one of those will be the Colorado Rockies traveling to Los Angeles to face the Dodgers, because there are no ties in baseball. Unless you’re Bud Selig at the 2002 All-Star Game, but I digress.
Here we are in the final week of the 2018 season. I decided to cut my list down to the Super Six this week, as they are the only ones who can actually play in October. Tune in next week as our Playoff Preview will drop.
The final push is upon us! Weather its bat licking craziness or nostalgic pitching performances, this playoff race will be one to remember. There wasn’t much movement in my rankings this week, that doesn’t mean there wasn’t plenty of action.

Here we find ourselves already in September. The final month of the season and the playoff race has yet to separate. The NL West is as competitive if not more than last year. The NL East will have some new faces representing them. Not to mention the NL Central is occupying three of the five playoff spots right now.
One week down and five left to go. As you can tell there is already a decent shakeup to the middle of this list. If you want a more detailed look at last week, this list will give you just that. Let’s dive right into it.
With only six weeks remaining of the MLB season, we are set to have a crazy finish for the National League. As I looked at the beginning of Sunday, there are only four teams out of the playoff race. Young talent looking to make statements and veterans looking to finally grab October hardware or even their first playoff win. It will be a very bumpy ride, but I will be here giving you a breakdown. This list will change from week to week, as each series is critical at this point in the season (just ask the Braves) so make sure to check back.
