Welcome to another fantasy battles. I will evaluate two players who have similar ADP in 12-team PPR scoring. The two competitors in question will be Travis Kelce and JuJu Smith-Schuster. According to Fantasy Football Calculator, both players are being taken in the early second round. With a similar ADP, we will look at the reasons for and against taking both players and whom I value based on the points made. Kelce is currently being taken as the TE1 while Smith-Schuster is being taken as the WR7. In 2018, Kelce finished as the TE1 while Smith-Schuster finished as the WR8. Follow along to see the pros and cons of drafting one over the other.

In today’s position battle, we are going to put Antonio Brown of the Oakland Raiders against Damien Williams of the Kansas City Chiefs. According to Fantasy Football Calculator in 12-team PPR leagues, both players currently have the same ADP (2.10). Brown is being drafted as the WR9 while Williams is being drafted as RB12. Brown finished as the WR5 in 2018 while Williams finished as the RB2 over the last three weeks of the season.

The Kansas City Chiefs ended 2018 on a sour note losing a close game at home in the AFC Championship Game to the New England Patriots. While it ended on a low, the majority of their campaign was positive, finishing 12-4 on the regular season. The Chiefs also won their first playoff game since 2015 and hosted the AFC Championship Game for the first time in franchise history. Patrick Mahomes won Most Valuable Player and became only the second quarterback in history to throw for 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns, joining only Peyton Manning. The defensive side of the ball was a completely different story, finishing second to last in total yards allowed per game. There were a lot of highs last season, and while it may have finished on a low note, Chiefs fans had to be happy with the beginning of a new era for Chiefs football.
