Week 9 Recap: New England Patriots vs. New York Jets
The New York Jets and New England Patriots were expected to play a competitive game on PrimeTime Monday night, just not at the score that they did.

Yesterday, we had plenty of exciting NFL action. Hopefully, you read my weekly prop bets article before the games kicked off yesterday and were able to make some money. While last night’s game was between two future Hall of Famers, tonight’s game is between the struggled Cam Newton and past his prime Joe Flacco.
This Monday night matchup seems like a game that would be played on Thursday night. The two-win New England Patriots face the winless New York Jets.
The New England Patriots suffered a lot of losses this offseason. However, is there still a path to double-digit wins? Jordan Leandre thinks so.
Burner accounts.
We all know that the Twitter world has been plagued with trolls, catfish, and people who act like someone they’re not. Now, the burner account phenomena may have infiltrated the New England Patriots.
With a 6-1 Dallas Cowboys team coming into Gillette Stadium on Sunday, the Patriots and their young receiving core will face a tough challenge with some veterans missing.
Week six has come and gone and we saw another batch of impressive rookie performances. This week was a rather defensive heavy week with a few standouts of the offensive side with one rookie quarterback making NFL history. Let’s get right into the rankings starting, as always, with a couple of honorable mentions.
For the second week in a row, the Thursday night matchup was an entertaining game. The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Los Angeles Rams 30-29 as Greg Zuerlein missed a game-winning 44-yard field goal with 11 seconds left in the game. The game was full of fantasy points for both teams and hopefully, we get another fantasy stuffed game tonight between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots. However, I think this game will be boring and lack a lot of big-time fantasy scorers.
The 2019 NFL season is right around the corner! We are knee deep in the preseason as teams are determining who will make the final roster. Every year there are players who come out of nowhere to make the team. To the average NFL fan, the preseason might be boring, but to dynasty fantasy football players, this is the time of the year to evaluate your deep bench. To help with that, the Scorecrow family has put together a mini-series with a handful of writers giving you their opinions on five questions. Be sure to follow all of the writers on twitter and ask any questions you may have regarding their answers. Without further ado, let’s get into it.
Football is back after a five and a half month hiatus! All 32 teams have played a preseason game. Preseason is a time for all fans to take a look at some of the unknown talents on their favorite team’s roster, whether they make the roster or not. Last week I highlighted six players that improved their stocks heading into roster cuts in a few weeks from the Hall of Fame game. Today I will highlight ten players who made the most out of their opportunities this past week and will look for sustained success in the weeks to come.
With Patriots Training Camp starting up this week, there are a few storylines that should be focused on.
