NFL Best Bets: Wild Card Weekend (Saturday Slate)
Eighteen weeks have come and gone over the course of the 2022 National Football League regular season.
Eighteen weeks have come and gone over the course of the 2022 National Football League regular season.
After a whopping two days off, the world’s greatest game makes its triumphant return tonight on Thursday Night Football.
The NFL season has now been over for more than a week, with the Los Angeles Rams being crowned Super Bowl champions last Sunday. With that said, the offseason is officially here with all 32 teams looking ahead to free agency and the NFL Draft. Before the NFL Scouting Combine takes place next week at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, it is time for another mock draft from yours truly.
Following Week 2 of the 2021 NFL season, we have some normalcy to the draft order. Some of the better teams in the league got back in the win column this week. Most of the teams that are currently 0-2 are not surprising. These teams will address the help they need with their early selections. Multiple winless teams also have a second first-round selection. Let’s get into this mock draft.
As we enter the final Sunday of the regular season, the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets have the first and second overall picks locked up, respectively. There are plenty of playoff implications and possible draft position shuffling going into this final week. The Jaguars are on the clock.
The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-5) travel to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers (1-4) in a battle of one-win teams. The Chargers come off their bye week, so they will be extra prepared while the Jaguars try to bounce back from a blowout loss to the Detroit Lions last week.
While this week’s Thursday Night game is not the most exciting game, there is still some money to be made. This past week was not my best, but with a record of 12-6 (not counting props) this football season, we keep this train rolling, and we keep making money.
This week, the Thursday night game on paper is one of the lesser interesting games to watch this weekend. However, that’s what DFS is for right? It makes the games more interesting even when it is two teams expected to be at the bottom of the standings.
In a depth move, the Jaguars agreed to terms with quarterback Mike Glennon on Friday.
Gavin Hayes previews this weekend’s game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets.
Joe Heller sees a few upsets coming our way this week.
