Gardner Minshew

While this week’s Thursday Night game is not the most exciting game, there is still some money to be made. This past week was not my best, but with a record of 12-6 (not counting props) this football season, we keep this train rolling, and we keep making money.

As always, we have you covered on the spread, point total, and best prop of the night. Let’s get rich.

Spread: Jaguars -3

After an offseason where the Jaguars spent most of their time throwing their best talent overboard, they are off to a great start. Gardner Minshew is really starting to blossom into a serviceable quarterback in this league. They still need to go find their franchise guy, but Minshew is just so easy to root for. With the Dolphins horrid pass rush and Minshew’s great start to the season, the Jaguars should be able to march the ball up and down the field tonight. The Dolphins have their next franchise quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa, but they are doing that thing where they pretend starting Ryan Fitzpatrick is actually a good thing. Give me the Jaguars in a close 31-23 game.

Point Total: O/48.5

The Dolphins were able to pick up a total of 410 yards against a pretty good Buffalo Bills defense last week. The Jaguars, who decided that having good players is not a good thing, have a not so great defense. Was last week just a case of Fitzmagic? Who’s to say. But both defenses are not good enough to stop some surprising offenses. As a wise man once said, “Life is too short to bet the under.”

Best Prop Of The Night: Gardner Minshew to Score and Win (+1200)

Minshew is going to carve up this Dolphins defense. So it should be a lock for him to score, and because of my prediction, he should be a lock to win as well. Not a lot of exciting props tonight, but this may be your best chance to get some real value tonight.
