As we enter the final Sunday of the regular season, the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets have the first and second overall picks locked up, respectively. There are plenty of playoff implications and possible draft position shuffling going into this final week. The Jaguars are on the clock.
1. Jacksonville Jaguars – Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson
The Jaguars caught a break after the Jets won their last two games, as they now get to select the generational quarterback Lawrence. The Jaguars are moving in a new direction after Sunday’s game, as Doug Marrone will be fired.
2. New York Jets – Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State
The Jets miss out on Lawrence, but they still get Fields. After his showing in the Sugar Bowl against Clemson, the Jets are salivating thinking about selecting him. Instead of going the offensive tackle route, they replace Sam Darnold with a dangerous dual-threat quarterback.
3. Miami Dolphins (via HOU) – Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon
The Dolphins grab elite level protection for Tua Tagovailoa after the Jets pass on Sewell. The will vastly help elevate Tagovailoa’s game to the next level as he will get plenty of time in the pocket.
4. Atlanta Falcons – Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech
The Falcons land a stud cornerback to pair with A.J. Terrell for the longterm. Farley is fairly new to the cornerback position after transitioning to it in 2018, but he has shown the ability to match up with any receiver. He has progressed much faster than anyone would expect into this year’s top cornerback prospect.
TRADE – New England sends picks 14, 106, and 2022 3rd to the Bengals for pick 5
5. New England Patriots (via CIN) – Zach Wilson, QB, BYU
New England takes the opportunity to trade up and select their new quarterback as they see the top two go off the board. Wilson has risen boards all season and has been ranked as QB2 by some recently. He would give Bill Belichick another stud gunslinger to fill Tom Brady‘s shoes for years.

6. Philadelphia Eagles – Devonta Smith, WR, Alabama
The Eagles need a ton of help on offense, including a more complete receiver. Smith is a Heisman finalist this season after a huge year and creates mismatches against any cornerback he faces. He would be the exact number one receiver the Eagles need to make things happen.
7. Detroit Lions – Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State
The Lions watch as Parsons falls right into their laps and grab the stud linebacker to be the center of their defense. They need top talent all over, and Parsons is versatile to any defensive scheme. Whoever takes over for Matt Patricia will be given a huge boost with this pick.
8. New York Giants – Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan
Paye lands with the Giants as they grab a versatile pass rusher who also can work at outside linebacker. Paye holds his own on the interior and has explosiveness in getting off the edge.
TRADE – Dallas sends picks 11 and 47 to the Panthers for pick 9
9. Dallas Cowboys (via CAR) – Patrick Surtain, CB, Alabama
The Cowboys jump the Broncos to select one of the top corners in the class and pairs Surtain with his former Alabama teammate Trevon Diggs. They would create a dynamic duo for years to come.
10. Denver Broncos – Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern
With the top two cornerbacks off the board, the Broncos get some protection for Drew Lock in Slater. Denver didn’t use any of their picks on a lineman last year but now get Slater. Many believe Slater can play any of the offensive line positions in the NFL.
11. Carolina Panthers (via DAL) – Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State
The Panthers trade back and still draft the player they would have gotten at 9. Lance gives Carolina a new young quarterback to develop into a franchise talent. He is still very raw but has all the tools necessary to succeed.
12. Los Angeles Chargers – Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech
Justin Herbert has been playing at an outstanding level this season, and he will only get better with better protection. The high-rising Darrisaw looks like a perfect fit for the Chargers.
13. Minnesota Vikings – Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU
While they miss out on the top four quarterbacks in this class, the Vikings pair former LSU teammates Chase and Justin Jefferson for one lethal air attack. Whoever the quarterback is in 2021 has an outstanding group of receivers.

14. Cincinnati Bengals (via NE) – Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida
After missing out on Sewell, the Bengals trade back and give Joe Burrow another weapon in the passing game in the explosive Pitts. Pitts can be used in several different ways, and a team could get creative with him, while he is also a solid run blocker.
15. San Francisco 49ers – Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina
The 49ers are seeing a massive turnover to their secondary this offseason and will need to look to reload with some young talent. Horn has solid ball skills and can play inside and outside, giving the 49ers flexibility for where they play him.
16. Las Vegas Raiders – Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame
The Raiders immediately upgrade their linebacking corp with this pick. Owusu-Koramoah is solid at all three levels and can provide a hybrid type player to the Raiders defense.

17. Arizona Cardinals – Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame
Kyler Murray needs more protection, and they get Eichenberg, who has started every game at left tackle for the Irish since the start of the 2018 season. He is a top-notch run blocker and is a natural at the point of attack.
18. Indianapolis Colts – Jayson Oweh, EDGE, Penn State
The Colts select the dynamic Oweh here to improve their edge rush. Kemoko Turay has had an outstanding season for the Colts this season off the edge, but that pass rush would be even stronger with Oweh.
19. Washington Football Team – Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama
Whoever winds up as the quarterback for Washington next season will need more weapons outside of Terry McLaurin. Waddle is another speedster like McLaurin and can burn defenses. They would create a dynamic duo in the passing attack for WFT for years.
20. Chicago Bears – Alijah Vera-Tucker, OG, USC
With no quarterback worth taking here, the Bears choose to add protection for whoever they have under center. Vera-Tucker has been rising all season and would help shore up the interior of the offensive line for Chicago.
21. Jacksonville Jaguars (via LAR) – Wyatt Davis, OG, Ohio State
What good is a new franchise quarterback if he isn’t protected? Jacksonville helps Lawrence out by adding Davis, who has been one of the top and most consistent guards this season.
22. Cleveland Browns – Jay Tufele, DT, USC
The Browns add to their interior pressure with Tufele. The depth of the Cleveland defensive front is not very deep, and Tufele would be excellent depth with the ability to make an immediate impact.
23. Miami Dolphins – Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia
After helping the offensive line with their first pick, the Dolphins move to the defensive side of the ball. Ojulari is quick and explosive off the edge and would rise the Miami defense to a potential elite level.

24. Baltimore Ravens – Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota
The Ravens haven’t been able to get much production from their wideouts this season. While they have potential with Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin, and others, Lamar Jackson needs more help. Bateman would be a great weapon for Jackson and can come up with explosive plays and catch in traffic.

25. Tennessee Titans – Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami
One of the top edge rushers in the draft falls to Tennessee as they work to improve upon the disappointment they got out of Jadeveon Clowney this season. Rousseau could go top ten, and the Titans would be smart to not pass up on him if he falls.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson
The Buccaneers have gotten production from their running backs this season, but they need a more dual-threat back that makes big plays out of the backfield. Etienne fits that bill, as he is as explosive as they come catching passes for Lawrence out of the backfield and making people miss.
27. New York Jets (via SEA) – Alex Leatherwood, OT, Alabama
Leatherwood has fallen slightly off after being higher ranked in the offensive lineman rankings. But he is still a first-round talent with his versatility and solid tools. The Jets add protection for Fields as he locks down the edge along with last year’s first-rounder Mekhi Becton.
28. Pittsburgh Steelers – Najee Harris, RB, Alabama
The Steelers are not known to take running backs in the first round, but Harris is too good a bruising back to pass up. Pittsburgh’s offense has missed juice this season and rebuilding their running room. Harris would give Pittsburgh plenty of stability in the backfield and take their offense to a different level.
29. New Orleans Saints – Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa
The Saints bolster their linebacking corp by adding the Bronko Nagurski Award winner, which honors the nation’s top defensive player. His versatility playing in the box and in coverage would benefit the New Orleans defense.
30. Buffalo Bills – Joseph Ossai, EDGE, Texas
The Bills need to add more young firepower to their pass rush and do so by Ossai. He has a relentless motor and does anything to go after the quarterback.
31. Green Bay Packers – Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State
Olave put on a show for the Buckeyes in the Sugar Bowl, which bolstered him into a possible mid-to-late first-rounder. The Packers finally give Aaron Rodgers another dynamic weapon in the passing game.
32. Kansas City Chiefs – Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas
How could the Kansas City offense possibly get any better you ask? Well, if they add more protection for Patrick Mahomes, they will be nearly unstoppable. Cosmi is an athletic specimen and had a great career with Texas playing both left and right tackle.
