The Packers clearly won the time of possession battle, Green Bay dominated the Minnesota Vikings in a 43-34 Week 1 victory.
The generally accepted top two teams in the NFC North will face off on Sunday to begin the 2020 NFL season. Neither team had an exciting offseason and have returned with similar squads to 2019. Aaron Rodgers will be on fire trying to prove his worth to the organization while Kirk Cousins will be making his best effort to win division games which he has struggled with since arriving in Minnesota.
The 2020 NFL season is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to get ready for fantasy football. Every year fantasy owners select players that either hit or turn into a bust. In this article, I will explain why fantasy owners should avoid Green Bay Packers’ running back Aaron Jones.
The Packers came into the 2019 season with a bunch of question marks. The team finally moved on from Mike McCarthy and was now led by Matt LaFleur. While the offense endured many growing pains during the season, the new and improved defense shouldered the load behind their three key free-agent additions in Preston and ZaDarius Smith and Adrian Amos. The Packers went 13-3 led by a record of 8-1 in one-score games and made the playoffs as the second seed. While in the playoffs, they secured another close victory over Seattle before getting demolished by San Francisco in the NFC Championship Game.
Following a recent flurry of contract extensions, the Green Bay Packers have extended nose tackle Kenny Clark with a record setting deal.
