The 2021-2022 NBA season is in full swing. At the end of the season, the league hands out five major awards. With most teams having played a quarter of their games, players have already left their marks for the year.
Coming to a close in November, the rookies have established who is going to be on the list going forward. Evan Mobley and Scottie Barnes continue to impress while Detroit’s Cade Cunningham is starting to come into his own.
As we head into late November, the rookie rankings are heating up with new appearances and some falling from the previous edition. Let’s take a look at the top rookies this week.
As the season goes on, wear and tear take place on the bodies and that’s what we’re starting to see in the rookie class. Injuries along with resting in the active NBA schedule are becoming a common trend for this rookie class.
At the beginning of the year, there was talk about how this rookie draft class could be one of the best, even drawing comparisons to the 2003 draft class. Through three weeks, they have lived up to expectations.
