Football is back! With the preseason underway, fantasy players are doing mock drafts hourly (or maybe it’s just me) to prepare for their fantasy drafts. In the fifth part of an eight-part series, I will look over the AFC North and provide ADP values, likely to bust candidates and potential sleepers.
While the 2021 NFL season is still months away, it is never too early to prepare for the fantasy season. Today, I am going to give three bold fantasy predictions for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021.
Aiming to end their three-game losing skid after beginning the season 11-0, the Pittsburgh Steelers played host to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday afternoon.
To conclude an entertaining Week 15 in the NFL, we have a not so appealing matchup tonight between the 11-2 Pittsburgh Steelers and the 2-10-1 Cincinnati Bengals. These two AFC North opponents played in Week 10, and even with Joe Burrow under center for the Bengals, the Steelers came away with the easy win, 36-10. The Steelers are fighting for the top seed in the AFC playoffs, while the Bengals are hoping to play spoilers.
This game was supposed to be a battle between old school and new school in the AFC North. However, since Joe Burrow is out for the season, Ryan Finley will lead the Cincinnati Bengals as they host Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Since this is a Monday night game, it could not get flexed so we are stuck with a game that will likely end in a blowout. That does not mean there isn’t still money to be made in DFS. Now let’s jump right into the top players for this Monday night showdown.
Week 14 features a huge AFC matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers (11-1) and the Buffalo Bills (9-3). Coming off their first loss of the season, the Steelers need a win to retain the top seed in the AFC. Meanwhile, the Bills can clinch the AFC East with a win. It will all go down in primetime on Sunday Night Football.
The Washington Football Team traveled to Pittsburgh to take on the undefeated Steelers on Monday in Week 13. In a defensive battle, the game saw 13 punts and limited scoring opportunities.
The Pittsburgh Steelers (6-0) travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens (5-1) in a pivotal division matchup. Quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Ben Roethlisberger face off for the first time in their careers in a battle of top quarterbacks in the league. The Ravens come off their bye week with extra time for preparation, while the Steelers enter off of a hard-fought win over the Tennessee Titans last week.
Once again, COVID-19 has thrown a wrench into this week’s main slate of games. As of writing this, the Tennessee
Week 3 was not as eventful on the injury front as Week 2 was for sure. However, there were still several players injured and I try to breakdown all the news on an injury front heading into Week 4 of the NFL season.
