With four weeks in the books, we are a quarter of the way through the 2019 fantasy season. Several big-name players have been lost to injury but new fantasy stars are in the making. To help fantasy football players with their roster construction, three of our writers have provided some insight on which players they would start, would sit, and consider a sleeper for week five. The Chiefs picked up a 40-26 victory over the Jaguars in the teams’ season opener.
In today’s position battle, we are going to put Antonio Brown of the Oakland Raiders against Damien Williams of the Kansas City Chiefs. According to Fantasy Football Calculator in 12-team PPR leagues, both players currently have the same ADP (2.10). Brown is being drafted as the WR9 while Williams is being drafted as RB12. Brown finished as the WR5 in 2018 while Williams finished as the RB2 over the last three weeks of the season.
Earlier today the NFL announced that the Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Tyreek Hill would not be suspended after being investigated for domestic violence this offseason. Whether you agree or disagree with this decision, whether you are a fan of the NFL’s personal conduct policy or not, the reality is Hill is allowed to take part in training camp next week and play in all 16 games this season. I’m not here to sway your opinion on the NFL’s decision or Hill as a person. I am here to explain how the news impacts the entire Chiefs’ offense from a fantasy perspective.
