MLB DFS: Pitchers, Hitters, and Stacks for April 18, 2022
It’s making money Monday. Hopefully, everyone had a fantastic Easter Sunday. Now, it’s time to get back to business and watch our Daily Fantasy screens turn green.

People only want to know how many points a guy scored, not necessarily the route they took to get there. DFS is not only a science but a math equation. Let’s dive in, put the pieces together, and try to solve it.
Welcome back. We have reached the point in the season where I begin ramping up my cash game contest volume. Every week is a decent week to play cash game contests. However, through 10 weeks of football and all of the data we can apply, you start to feel better about your process. With that said, let’s get a few guidelines out of the way, followed by the picks.
We have a nine-game slate tonight beginning at 7:05 p.m. EDT in the MLB, and for today’s lottery ticket, we’re looking for Wednesday winners, especially in tournament play.
Numerous teams are getting a break on Monday (only eight games in total), and rain is in the forecast for several games on the main slate. However, it looks like clear skies for the 8:05 p.m. EDT trio of games that make up Monday Night Turbo.
Coming off two straight Cup victories, Kyle Larson continues to pour it on. While this latest All-Star victory does Larson no good in terms of Series points, it was still impressive to see him work through a completely different format from the rest of the cup schedule. This week, the Money Train delves into the DFS options for Sunday’s Cup Series event in Nashville, TN.
Welcome to Tuesday, fellow DFS degenerates. Today we are going to be riding some hot hands, hopefully all the way to the bank. It’s a banger tonight, meaning a stacked 15-game slate in MLB.
Always a delight when your DFS planning for the day includes a long look at the weather forecast around baseball. The good news is that it appears the worst is behind us.
Games suspended by rain and doubleheaders are the name of the game in this week. Daily fantasy players would be wise to check and double-check their lineups right up to the first pitch.
Well, we made it through another week of this shortened baseball season! Not without some bumps along the way, as the Reds-Pirates weekend series was postponed with a Reds’ player testing positive for the Coronavirus. There are 24 teams in action today, with 11 of the 12 games falling under the main slate at 7:05 pm est. The only game(s) that is not under this slate is the Cubs-Cardinals as they play a doubleheader. With that in mind, let’s roll out some picks on this Monday.
Just like last week below are the best pitching streamers for next week. I actually went with three young guns who have all showed some promise. Not only can these three help you this week but you might want to hold onto them for the future.
A full schedule to dissect for tonight awaits us. The Milwaukee Brewers and Houston Astros are in fine spots and will likely be very popular when targeting offense. The pitching landscape has plenty of good to great options, no clear cut favorite but we can feel fairly confident with a couple aces that are in good spots. You know the drill, we’re going Around the Horn! Giddy up!
