There’s been a lot of optimism surrounding the Miami Heat this off-season. Not only because of the new addition of all-star forward Jimmy Butler but also because of Bam Adebayo. By trading Hassan Whiteside to Portland, the Heat are showing they fully believe in Adebayo. Another person who’s also very high on Adebayo is Chris Bosh.
In 2010, the Miami Heat pulled off the biggest free agency coup in NBA history signing Lebron James and Chris Bosh to join Dwyane Wade in Miami. During their four seasons together in Miami, the Heat went on to win two championships in four NBA Finals appearances. While Chris Bosh became a member of the Heat’s Big Three, there’s been reports over the years that suggested that Carmelo Anthony was supposed to be the third piece of the Heat’s Big Three in 2010.
During a segment on NBA TV’s ‘Open Court’, Former Miami Heat player Chris Bosh said his biggest ‘What If’ of his career was Lebron James staying in Miami. Bosh believes the Heat would’ve won at least one more title had James stayed in Miami.
The regular season has ended, and the playoffs are finally among us, and there was a ton of drama up until the last game. Today is the 29th anniversary of Hank Gathers’ tragic death. If you don’t know who that is, don’t worry. At this point, after this many years, it’s quite easy to have never known who Gathers was, as a player or as a man. But for people who did get the chance to follow his career, they won’t forget easily.
