Welcome back to the gambling corner. After a winning week last time, I took a break because I had to move. It just so happens that the week I took off I went 14-2 and was up 13.4 units.

The NBA and NHL have made plans to resume their seasons in the coming months. The MLB appears to be close to an agreement between owners and players as to when they will begin their season. The NFL is planning to begin the season on-time.
It begs the question: Will the 2020 champions be tainted?
A full schedule awaits us tonight in the NHL. We have trimmed down the mega slate and we will try to ride the coattails of a few teams that are in really good form of late. The Florida Panthers host the Philadelphia Flyers, Ottawa and Detroit tangle in the Motor City and the red-hot Chicago Blackhawks host the Carolina Hurricanes in what should be a game with lots of scoring chances. Let’s sharpen the skates and go for some Ice Picks!
This evenings’ slate of five games has been trimmed down to three. The ever-improving Chicago Blackhawks travel to Vegas to play the struggling Golden Knights. The Senators visit the New Jersey Devils in a game that has more appeal than it would a few weeks ago as both teams are making small strides to improve. Finally, in what could be the game of the night, the Washington Capitals will square off with divisional rivals, the Philadelphia Flyers. Lace-em’up ladies and gents, time to make some Ice Picks!
Welcome to the third edition of the NHL Weekly Roundup. Well, John Tavares is back! In Tavares’ second game back for the Toronto Maple Leafs, the star forward scored the game-winning overtime goal against the Vegas Golden Knights. Last week’s team on the rise, the St Louis Blues, stayed hot winning all three of their matches for the week, and if you got the chance to watch my game of the week you enjoyed a great one with the Boston Bruins beating the Pittsburg Penguins 6-4. Sadly though I’m not always going to be right, the Buffalo Sabres continued slipping as they lost both of their games this past week. In news unrelated to my last article, congratulations to Anaheim Ducks veteran Ryan Getzlaf on his 1,000th game played! Now let’s get into our stars of the week.
Welcome into another edition of Ice Picks. Tonight we have nine games on the evening docket. Plenty of games with an implied total of 6.5 will be where we focus our attention on. Be sure to monitor the following matchups: Los Angeles at Montreal, Carolina at Ottawa, Philadelphia at Toronto, Vegas at Washington and Chicago at Pittsburgh. Let’s jump right to it and make some ice picks!
Plenty of games on the docket for this full Thursday night in the NHL. All toll we have 10 games to pick from, my feature players are targeted from three games with high-event potential. Philadelphia at Chicago, Florida at Calgary and Buffalo at the New York Rangers. Let’s dig into it, let’s make some Ice Picks!
Ten game slates are sometimes hard to decipher. There are many matchups to consider and numbers to sort through. The most important thing is to not play too many lineups because you can’t decide between lines to play or narrow your overall player pool.
Saturday night is usually a big night in NHL and tonight is no different as we have 11 games to choose from on the main slate. Tonight the focus will be Boston hosting the Devils, the Jets and Blackhawks in Chicago, the surging Carolina Hurricanes looking to stay undefeated versus the Blue Jackets and the Maple Leafs looking to rebound at Detroit. Let’s drop the puck and make some Ice Picks.
Thursday night is a full schedule for some puck action. All toll we have 11 games to choose from. There is bound to be a game or two you can bounce back and forth with the Thursday night NFL offering which could get out of reach with the Patriots envolved. My projections forecast Tampa Bay and Toronto, San Jose/ Chicago, St. Louis at Ottawa and Edmonton at Jersey as great games to target for offensive production. Sharpen the skates, time for Ice Picks!
