Round two in Atlanta for Supercross would again provide some wild results and great racing. Now there have been four different winners in this stint with a round to go. With title races nearing their conclusions, things were most certainly heated up in Hotlanta.
For the first time since 2000, Supercross was running in a non-stadium environment at a venue that is not Daytona International Speedway. Despite some morning rain and slick track early on, The Atlanta Motor Speedway infield course proved to be one of the best tracks of the entire season.
Around noon on Wednesday, the AMA and FIM came down with a bombshell of an announcement. This involved set penalties on four 450 class riders for a red cross flag violation Tuesday night in Houston.
The second round of the 2021 Supercross Season is now in the books and was certainly one for the books for both good and bad reasons.

Stadiums will be hosting multiple races in a week similar to that of a barnstorming bubble due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
