Paul reveals the first half (100-51) of his NBA Top 100 list for the 2019-20 NBA season.
Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, and Josh Hart were traded to the New Orleans Pelicans a few months ago for Anthony Davis.
Brandon Ingram is the best talent out of those three players, and he’s proven it with the Lakers. In the last six games before getting injured, post-All-Star break, Ingram averaged 28.9 points per game, as a second option on the offensive end. If the Pelicans utilize Ingram correctly, he could be a special player, and one they would regret trading.
Recently LA Laker forward Brandon Ingram was diagnosed with a DVT in his right arm after missing games because of shoulder pain. Since athletes aren’t in the front of the line for a DVT diagnosis, the question becomes why him?
This season has not gone well for the Los Angeles Lakers, but that might be just a bit of an understatement as the Lakers are currently sitting in the 11th seed in the Western Conference with playoff hopes fading fast. Luke Walton has been criticized throughout the season by fans and media alike, and it is believed among NBA circles that Magic Johnson already has a replacement in mind.
The Los Angeles Lakers are going through a tough time period currently. They have lost three of their last five games to teams below .500. Their opponents are averaging 118 points in those losses which would rank second to last in defensive rankings. Despite the Lakers troubles, Brandon Ingram has been a key bright spot during this stretch.
The Lakers had another shaky week, going 1-2 with losses coming to the Sixers and Warriors. LeBron James returned on Thursday against the Clippers for the Battle of LA; Lakers were able to win that game. Now that LeBron is back, Lakers should be back to their winning ways.
The Lakers and Rockets squared off, each squad missing key pieces. The Lakers are still without LeBron James and Rajon Rondo while the Rockets are still without Clint Capela and Chris Paul. The Lakers would eventually lose Lonzo Ball. Lonzo would roll his ankle in the third quarter; he did not return to the game.
The Los Angeles Lakers had a good week last week. It could have been a better week but I will get into that later on. The Lakers started off last week hosting the Chicago Bulls, before heading west to face the Oklahoma City Thunder and then the Houston Rockets.
D’Angelo Russell was drafted in 2015 by the Los Angeles Lakers as the 2nd overall pick in the draft. Russell came into the league with high hopes of being the next star point guard for the Lakers. He had the capability of being the next star point guard for the Lakers too, but his stint with the Lakers, unfortunately, didn’t last long.
The Los Angeles Lakers started last week off on a strong note, defeating the Mavericks in Dallas, 107-97. Then they defeated the Detroit Pistons in LA, 113-100, with Kyle Kuzma scoring 41 points in 29 minutes. They hit a roadblock in Utah, losing that game, 113-95. On Sunday night, they hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers; this game should have been a win, but, the Lakers lost this game, 101-95. They finished the week off with a 2-2 record. It should’ve very well been a 3-1 record after taking care of business in Dallas and against the Pistons.
The Los Angeles Lakers have had a couple of second overall picks in the draft over the years. They also have had a few steals in the draft too. Now these players are showing what they are made of, and some of these players are making other teams regret not taking them in the draft before the Lakers did.
