Every year the initial release, or every release for that matter, of the AP Poll draws controversy, and for good reason. This year’s we all assumed the worst, as we should, but the preseason poll isn’t fully terrible.

After a year with no real non-conference play, it’s finally back in 2021. This year’s schedule is packed with excitement from top to bottom and we have top-20 matchups throughout the whole month of September.
Add yet another name to the top-loaded quarterback class with Mac Jones. Succeeding Tua Tagovailoa, Jones had huge shoes to fill. He filled them and then some.
Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith lit the NCAA on fire this past year. With 117 receptions. 1.853 yards, and 23 touchdowns, Smith had a historically good season. Smith is a gamechanger and electric when he gets his hands on the ball. However, there are some things to note about Smith’s game.
Every team in the NFL is looking for versatile offensive linemen. Landon Dickerson has played all five positions on the offensive line during his five years in college spending time at both Florida State and Alabama.
In the dynamic pass and run offenses in the NFL, there has been an emphasis on receivers who can do a variety of different things. Jaylen Waddle is very dynamic. He can play outside, in the slot, and as a decoy in the backfield. The smaller wideout has a tremendous skill set, which Waddle shows off on nearly every play.
It’s finally here, the National Championship. While it does mark the end of college football, we have a great matchup up ahead of us tonight. Two very explosive offenses, two blue-blood programs, and the clear two best teams in the country. Let’s end this College football season with a bang.
Dylan Moses has been on the NFL’s radar since he received scholarships from LSU and Alabama in eighth grade. Once thought of as the next great linebacker, Moses was earning early-first round hype before he tore his ACL during a practice before the 2019 season and opted to return to Alabama for his senior season. This year has been a bit of a struggle for Moses as he switched to the MIKE linebacker role for the Crimson Tide. He has since gone from being potentially the best linebacker in the class to potentially the fourth or fifth-best.
