Report: Giants set to add Edge Rusher Markus Golden

Markus Golden will reunite with James Bettcher in the big apple.

The New York Giants are signing pass rusher Markus Golden on a one year contract according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Golden comes from the Arizona Cardinals where just two seasons ago in 2016 he recorded 12.5 sacks.

The defensive coordinator that season for Arizona was none other than current Giants defensive coordinator James Bettcher.

In New York, Golden will have a chance to reestablish himself on a one-year deal as he has suffered from injuries the past two seasons that have not let him be the dominant 2016 version of himself.

If he can resemble that the Giants may just have made one of the biggest steals of the off-season.
