I Said It 4-13-17: Belichick and Bruins

By Producer Alex

  • Bill Belichick recently played a game of word association with CNBC’s Suzy Welch. Or at least, everyone mistook it for a game of word association, because the Mad Genius has difficulty putting two words together at a time.
  • The Ottawa Senators tweeted this during yesterday’s playoff game against the Bruins:

Then they promptly went on to lose, 2-1. Maybe the guy who manages Ottawa’s social media is Dan Quinn, coach of the Atlanta Falcons… It all makes sense now.

  • The Cubs received their World Series rings Wednesday. Each one features 108 diamonds, to represent the 108-year drought between World Series titles. But wait… So each diamond represents a season that ended in heartbreak? That’s odd. I suppose all that glitters isn’t gold…
  • QB Aaron Rodgers just broke up with his girlfriend Olivia Munn… If she’s still into football players, I have a feeling Rob Gronkowski is still available.
