Tonight we have a matchup of playoff hopefuls as the 6-6 New England Patriots head out west to take on the 8-4 Los Angeles Rams. Currently, the Patriots are on the outside of the playoff picture looking in while the Rams are at the top of the NFC West division. With both teams fighting for the playoffs, we can expect a competitive game.

Welcome to the post-Week 13 edition of triggering power rankings.

The last time these two teams met was in Atlanta on Feb. 3, 2019, for Super Bowl LIII. As everyone knows, the New England Patriots emerged victoriously, but a lot of things have changed since that game. Neither the Los Angeles Rams nor Patriots are the powerhouses they were two years ago, but they do have a common goal: reaching the playoffs.

Here’s a look back at the week that was Week 13.

In Week 13, we had great teams come closer to clinching their divisions, and a surprising race heating up in the NFC East. What will happen next week?

To many, the 2020 NFL season seems like it just got started. To others, the offseason can’t come soon enough. However, we have roughly a quarter of the season left and it’s time to start thinking about the yearly award winners.

In the second game of the Monday Night Football doubleheader, the Buffalo Bills traveled to State Farm Stadium in Arizona for the second time this season, this time to battle the 49ers.

The Washington Football Team traveled to Pittsburgh to take on the undefeated Steelers on Monday in Week 13. In a defensive battle, the game saw 13 punts and limited scoring opportunities.

In 2020 it feels like we have football every Tuesday. Tonight the 3-8 Dallas Cowboys taking on the 6-5 Baltimore Ravens. The Cowboys need to win this game to keep pace with the New York Giants in the NFC East. Meanwhile, the Ravens are currently 1.5 games out of the final AFC Wild Card spot. A loss to the Cowboys would seriously hamper the Ravens’ chances of making the postseason.

The New York Jets fired defensive coordinator Gregg Williams on Monday. The firing comes a day after the Jets loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

With the amount of history made in Lambeau Field last Sunday evening, Aaron Rodgers decided to continue the train this Sunday afternoon against the Philadelphia Eagles. Rodgers threw his 400th career touchdown pass in the third quarter and became the first quarterback in NFL history to have five seasons of 35 touchdown passes or more. Rodgers also has the fewest interceptions (88) ever for a quarterback hitting the 400th career touchdown pass mark.
