The 13th week held an illustrious slate of games, and the top dogs are starting to reveal themselves.
College basketball is rolling right through the regular season. February is a key month for teams and the first AP Poll of the month has been released as programs try and continue to build their resumes.

Our most entertaining week of college basketball is now in the books. We had several marquee matchups with some unexpected winners and big-time risers as well.
The eighth week of college basketball saw a short little break for the holidays and not too much excitement overall. There were still some solid upsets, and they seem to be the case every week nowadays.
Last week’s college basketball slate did not see as much chaos as the previous week but we still had some fun games and upsets. This week’s AP Poll is actually pretty solid and does not invoke too much recency bias.

After tons of upsets, big programs not pulling their weight, and a new king at the top of the poll, it’s time to break down this week’s rankings in order to determine who deserved a higher spot and who they got just right.
