College basketball saw its best week yet with the early-season tournaments starting last week. Several teams saw a huge jolt in their ranking because of their play against higher-ranked opponents but some others saw significant falls because of poor play.
We learned a solid amount about the college basketball world in our first week of play but there’s still a ton of teams to sort through. No real upsets occurred but we saw great basketball and some super intense games throughout. In this upcoming week, we don’t see any premier matchups until a bit later when some of the early season tournaments begin to start up and the season really gets underway. As of now, however, let’s get into our reactions to this week’s AP Poll.
Former Florida State forward, Scottie Barnes, has flown up draft boards in recent weeks, shattering the narrative that there is a clear top five in the 2021 NBA Draft. Barnes has been moving up due to his length, improved shooting, and high energy.
