The Dallas Cowboys had a season altering event on Sunday. With the game tied in the third quarter, Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott took off on a designed draw play. At the end of the play, after planting his foot he was hit by the defender and the combination of his positioning and the force of the tackle resulted in a very serious ankle injury.

The Los Angeles Rams were expected to make easy work of the Washington Football Team and did just that on Sunday. The Rams got ahead early and didn’t look back as they beat Washington 30-10.

For the second time in three weeks, the New Orleans Saints will play on Monday night. This time they face the Los Angeles Chargers in a matchup between Drew Brees and Justin Herbert. Ironically, Herbert is the successor to Brees’ successor, Philip Rivers, in Los Angeles. Tonight’s game should be entertaining no matter your reason for watching.

In a game that every expert expected the San Franciso 49ers to run away with, the Miami Dolphins were the ones who pulled away. This game was expected to be a get back in shape kind of game for the Niners, but it ended up being an aerial assault by the Dolphins that conquered the day.

Monday night’s matchup features a Hall of Fame quarterback and a young rookie quarterback looking for his first victory. Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers head into the Superdome to face off against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.

The Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns both came into the game with records of 3-1. Unfortunately, only one left 4-1 while the other left 3-2. This was expected to be one of the best games of the week, and it was as the Browns won by a score of 32-23.

The Atlanta Falcons are the second team in 2020 to sever ties with their head coach. Shortly thereafter, their general manager met the same fate following the team’s 23-13 loss against the Carolina Panthers.

The Houston Texans picked up their first win of the season by shutting down the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Andersen Pickard breaks down the highlights, stats, and implications from this divisional battle.

The National League Championship Series is set to begin on Monday, October 12 at 8:08 p.m. ET. The Atlanta Braves will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the best-of-seven series.

The Arizona Cardinals stuck to the script and walked away with a comfortable victory this weekend against the still winless New York Jets. The game went how most expected as the Jets could not keep up with the Cardinals and lost by a large margin.

After a heartbreaking loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Dallas Stars went into the draft looking for players who will make a difference. The Stars appear to be taking a gamble on highly-skilled goal-scorers, hoping it will translate into the NHL style of play.
