NASCAR DFS Unhinged 300

Last weekend was a little offbeat for the Xfinity Series, as there would be back to back races at Homestead-Miami. After finishing in seventh place on Saturday, Chase Briscoe would wrap up the doubleheader with a nail-biting victory at the Contender Boats 250.  Brandon Jones, Ross Chastain, and A J Allmendinger would round out the top four. In order to win, Briscoe would need to do it with a completely new man on the pit box.

The Gibbs side had plenty of problems on Wednesday night at Martinsville. However, it would end up being Martin Truex Jr that carried the can for the organization. Erik Jones and Denny Hamlin would each finish the race three laps down. Normally a strong driver at his home track, Hamlin had problems most of the night. He ended up 24th, which was last among the Gibbs drivers.

NASCAR Xfinity Series DFS: Homestead-Miami Hooters 250

This weekend the Xfinity Series heads to Homestead-Miami Speedway. This race has been the championship weekend in the past but NASCAR changed the schedule this year. This was an attempt to mix up the championship race every year so it doesn’t favor certain drivers.

NASCAR DFS Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500

Kevin Harvick just continues to dominate at Atlanta Motorspeedway, having led at least 45 laps or more in his past seven NASCAR Cup Series visits. In dominating fashion on Sunday, Harvick would lap all but the last nine drivers by races end. Martin Truex Jr would win the first two stages but would be overtaken by Harvick with 105 laps left to go. Harvick would not relinquish the lead after that.

It would turn out to be an action-packed run to the finish, Monday night at Bristol Motor Speedway. With four laps left to go, a two man battle between JR Motorsports teammates, Justin Allgaier and Noah Gragson would emerge.

NASCAR DFS Supermarket Heroes 500

It finally came up trumps for Hendricks driver Chase Elliott on Thursday night. After his  hopes of victory were quickly dashed in the previous Cup Series race. Elliot was able to close the deal, only a week later. Again rain would not cooperate, pushing the race back another day. Joey Logano would lead the first portion of the event,capturing the first stage and 33 of the laps. Alex Bowman took the stage 2 win, but would finish in 31st place.

NASCAR Cup Series DFS: Alsco Uniforms 500

The NASCAR Cup Series schedule is starting to pick up. This will be the fourth Cup Race since returning on May 17th. They will once again be at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Wednesday nights race will be only 500 km and just like last Wednesday, there will be no qualifying or practice. They will invert the field just like last week as well so, 1-20 will be flipped and 21-40 will start were they finished Sunday.

For an Xfinity race that was set to commence on Tuesday night, it would take two more days due to the heavy rainfalls at Darlington Raceway. Thursday would also suffer a four-hour rain delay, but would eventually get rolling.

After the Xfinity race was postponed the day before due to a torrential down pour, rain would indeed prove to be the decider in Wednesday’s Cup Series event. Until the last thirty or so laps, it did look as though the weather would indeed holdup.

NASCAR Cup Series DFS: Toyota 500

Don’t worry, we didn’t have to wait too long for some more NASCAR DFS. NASCAR’s new schedule due to COVID-19 has allowed them to experiment with some mid-week races. The cars and drivers are right back to Darlington for the second cup race in four days. Sunday’s race was great and we saw Kevin Harvick ultimately end up winning the race. Just like Sunday’s race, there will be no practice or qualifying. Instead, the lineup will be set by having drivers who finished 1-20 in Sunday’s race inverted. Followed by drivers 21-40 who will start where they finished Sunday. Let’s dive right into my top drivers for Wednesday night’s race.
