Entering the 2020 season, the Dallas Cowboys had Super Bowl expectations. However, the team got off to a 1-3 start and only got their one win after the Atlanta Falcons forgot how the onside kick rules work. Then in their Week 5 matchup against the New York Giants, Dak Prescott suffered a compound right ankle fracture.
In 2020, the world and the NFL have to adjust on the fly. With Covid-19 impacting when games can happen, we didn’t have a Thursday night game last week. However, after a week off, we have football again tonight as the New York Giants take the short drive down to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles.
After having no Thursday night football last week, everyone should be excited for the game tonight between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles. While the two teams have a combined record of 2-9-1, even the most boring games open the door for gamblers to make some money.
To wrap up a wild Week 6 in the NFL, we get the second game of our Monday night doubleheader between the Arizona Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. This matchup was supposed to feature Kyler Murray against Dak Prescott. Unfortunately, Dak suffered a season-ending injury last week against the New York Giants.
Once again, Covid-19 has impacted the NFL’s schedule. After being forced to move the Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans game to Tuesday night last week, the league moved the Kansas City Chiefs and Bills game from Thursday night to tonight. The good news is we get another Monday Night Football doubleheader, kicking off with a matchup between two of the best quarterbacks in the league.
Thanks to Covid-19, the NFL had to do a lot of schedule shuffling last week, which caused the Thursday night game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills to be pushed back to Monday night. With no Thursday night game, gamblers are extra excited for the 14 game slate of NFL games this weekend.
The best part about fantasy football is winning. The second best part is the draft. However, the draft has come and gone, and fantasy owners struggle with who to start, who to sit, and who to target as a sleeper each week.
The title is misleading as you can’t replace Dak Prescott. Unfortunately, Prescott suffered a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle on Sunday, ending his season. The Dallas Cowboys will now turn the starting job over to veteran Andy Dalton.
The 2020 NFL season has been nothing but wild over the last two weeks because of Covid-19. Due to the outbreak inside the Tennessee Titans’ facilities, they had to reschedule their Week 4 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers for later in the season. Then, they had to push their Week 5 matchup against the Buffalo Bills from Sunday to tonight.
For the second time in three weeks, the New Orleans Saints will play on Monday night. This time they face the Los Angeles Chargers in a matchup between Drew Brees and Justin Herbert. Ironically, Herbert is the successor to Brees’ successor, Philip Rivers, in Los Angeles. Tonight’s game should be entertaining no matter your reason for watching.
Thursday night’s game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Bears turned out to be more of a defensive struggle than a shootout between former Super Bowl MVPs. Hopefully, most of you were able to cash in on the lower than expected game as the under barely hit.
